When I started ‘Jay Connors Photography’ (formerly Just in the Click of Time Photography) the intention was simple…to capture moments that quickly evaporate in a moment. All too often we glance but do not comprehend, we see but don’t drink it in and we look but never hold onto.

My interest in Photography started at an early age when my Neighbor invited my brother and I into his darkroom to watch him process Film. Every time I visited; I was entranced into the world of Pictures. I still shoot film, and while processing is a little bit different in today’s Digital Age (yes, I also shoot Digital), it still is nice to slow down a bit from time to time and remember my beginnings. Today while I can shoot in color, my preference is to shoot in Black & White. Black & White eliminates the distractions created by some color photography and distracts from the emotion of a photograph. For me black & white images are more impactful and forces you to consider the whole image. 

I believe God’s Creation is meant to be enjoyed, always pointing to Him and His Glory, whether that is a grand landscape or the simplest of portraits, my goal is to always bring out the best in any image I compose and offer my clients.
